Terrell Stoglin has been named the ACC Player of the Week today.
Stoglin averaged 28 points and 4 rebounds as Maryland split their two contests last week, falling to Illinois on Tuesday before defeating Notre Dame Sunday night at Verizon Center. Stoglin had 25 points versus Illinois before pouring in 31 in a win against the Irish; 1 point shy of his career high of 32. More importantly versus the Irish, Stoglin had only 1 turnover.
For the season now, Stoglin is averaging 22.4 points per game, good for 9th in all of Division 1. He is also the leading scorer in the ACC and the top scorer nationally among all BCS conferences.
